Policy Summary
This supplemental billing/coding guidance applies to non-invasive FFR (FFRct) performed as a post-processing analysis of a prior CCTA to evaluate ischemic heart disease. Claims must include the referring physician name and NPI and the medical record must document the CCTA report, clinical findings leading to the CCTA, symptoms consistent with stable ischemic heart disease, BMI, and the FFRct analysis report; coding must also comply with NCCI/OPPS edits and the Noridian LCD L38278.
