Billing and Coding: Urodynamic Services - Non-invasive
A58543
Non-invasive urodynamic testing using a penile cuff is used to evaluate male lower urinary tract symptoms and to guide diagnosis and treatment decisions; such tests performed without catheterization should be billed with CPT 55899 and identified in the claim narrative. If no specific CPT/HCPCS exists, submit an appropriate NOC code, and do not bill Medicare for non-covered services as covered—use the correct modifier for non-coverage.
