Billing and Coding: MolDX: Genetic Testing in Heritable Thoracic Aortic Disease

This billing/coding guidance requires billing a single MolDX genetic test for Heritable Thoracic Aortic Disease using one of CPT codes 81410, 81411, or 81479 with one unit of service. The appropriate DEX Z-Code and ICD-10-CM code must be entered in the specified Part A or Part B claim fields (per LCD DL39938), and only one test may be billed per patient; do not add extra characters on the SV101-7 field.
