Billing and Coding: MolDX: Genetic Testing in Heritable Thoracic Aortic Disease

Coverage follows the MolDX LCD DL39944 for genetic testing in heritable thoracic aortic disease and must be billed using CPT 81410, 81411, or 81479. Only one test may be billed per patient with 1 unit of service reported, and the appropriate DEX Z-Code and ICD-10-CM diagnosis code(s) must be entered in the specified claim fields (Part A and Part B electronic and paper locations).
