Aetna excludes Metrecom and other computerized/biomechanical/digital skeletal analysis systems (including FIGUR8) as experimental/investigational and not medically necessary because their value in improving clinical outcomes is unproven, and individual components are likewise considered experimental. Consequently CPT codes 0778T, 95851, and 97750 and the listed musculoskeletal, injury, and screening ICD‑10 codes are not covered for the indicated neuromuscular control screening, injury prevention, or rehabilitation uses (Metrecom has no specific CPT code).
