Aetna excludes over‑the‑counter home/self‑test kits that don’t require a prescription (e.g., Confide, Home Access), notes limited support for home‑based testing models, and cautions that oral‑fluid tests (OraQuick) have sensitivity limitations that may require blood‑based confirmation.
