Female Sexual Dysfunction (FSD)
AETNA-CPB-0574
Aetna covers FSD only for specified ICD‑10 diagnoses (N90.5; N94.10–N94.19; N95.2) when selection criteria are met, refers to separate pharmacy CPBs for Vyleesi and Osphena, and does not cover non‑DME items such as vibrators. The policy deems many diagnostic tests and treatments experimental/investigational and not covered (e.g., biothesiometry, botulinum toxin, female erectile devices, laser/radiofrequency therapies including ThermiVa/Viveve, sacral or posterior tibial neuromodulation, PDE‑5 inhibitors, testosterone implants/injections, stem‑cell/regenerative therapies and certain CPT‑coded procedures), and some plans may separately exclude drugs or supplies for sexual dysfunction.
