Aetna covers prescription-version ReliefBand or PrimaBella devices (and HCPCS E0765) for post‑operative nausea, chemotherapy‑induced nausea, and hyperemesis gravidarum only when unresponsive to antiemetics and other conservative therapies (covered ICD‑10 includes K91.0 when criteria are met). Aetna excludes over‑the‑counter disposable ReliefBand devices for motion sickness, considers transcutaneous/auricular/trans‑auricular neuromodulation and numerous other indications experimental and not covered, and does not cover CPT codes 0783T, 97813, or +97814 for the listed indications.
