Aetna considers suit therapy devices (Adeli/Polish/Therasuit/TheraTogs/Penguin, Dynamic Lycra/Dynamic Movement Orthoses, Benik vest/trunk support, TLSO use for autism, and home use of these devices) experimental/investigational and does not cover them for CP, gait rehab after stroke, scoliosis, hemiparesis/hemiplegia, autism, or other listed indications because effectiveness has not been established. No specific CPT/HCPCS codes (including L1200) are covered for these indications, and ICD‑10 codes for pervasive developmental disorders (F84.0–F84.9) are among diagnoses not covered.
