This policy addresses autonomic nervous system function testing, including sudomotor tests (QSART, TST, silastic sweat imprint, SSR, QDIRT, SudoScan), cardiovagal evaluation, and vasomotor adrenergic testing. Anthem deems these services investigational/experimental and not medically necessary for all indications, so they are not covered; no exceptions or covered indications are specified, regardless of underlying condition.
