CMM-310: Manipulation Under Anesthesia

Covered only as a closed manipulation under sedation/general anesthesia for traumatically induced vertebral fracture or dislocation in emergent situations to mitigate potential neurologic compromise, and considered not medically necessary for non‑traumatic cases or when performed in isolation. Key requirements: a qualified physician must have considered open reduction beforehand, the procedure must be done with an active rehabilitation/therapeutic exercise and home exercise program, and documentation must confirm the traumatic fracture/dislocation, emergent intent to prevent neurologic compromise, and the use of sedation/anesthesia.
