Standing Frames - DME.CU.104.A

Covered for non-ambulatory patients with neurological/neuromuscular impairments as home-use DME; excluded for ambulatory individuals and not indicated solely to prevent low bone mineral density in children with CP (with cautions for uncontrolled seizures, respiratory/aspiration risk, or high fracture risk). Coverage requires ALL documented criteria: inability to stand and walk, care and prescription by a specialty-trained physician for daily home use, a successful trial tolerating upright positioning, patient/caregiver ability to operate the device, and supporting diagnosis/clinical justification.
