Pediatric pelvis imaging — primarily MRI pelvis (CPT 72195–72197) and other pelvic imaging modalities — for evaluation of pediatric pelvic and scrotal conditions. It is intended for pediatric patients with presentations such as abnormal uterine bleeding, PID, amenorrhea, endometriosis, suspected adnexal mass, pelvic pain/ovarian torsion, PCOS, scrotal pathology/undescended testis, fetal pelvic evaluation, incontinence and penile/periurethral lesions; imaging for atypical presentations requires physician review, MRI with contrast is rarely used, and this excerpt does not specify frequency, age limits, or detailed exclusions.
