BDX-XL2

BDX-XL2 (Biodesix) is covered only for management of solitary pulmonary nodules 8–30 mm in diameter in patients aged 40 or older when the Mayo Clinic Model estimates a pre-test cancer risk of 50% or less. The test is intended to identify nodules with high probability of benignity to support non-invasive CT surveillance rather than invasive procedures; cases outside the size, age, or risk parameters or without Mayo Model assessment are not covered.
