Corneal Hysteresis

This policy states that corneal hysteresis assessments are non-covered when used to assess risk or to monitor progression of ophthalmic disease. No indications for coverage of corneal hysteresis for those purposes are provided in the policy.

"Corneal hysteresis assessments are not covered when performed as a means of risk assessment or for monitoring progression of ophthalmic disease activity."
