Near-Infrared Spectroscopy in Wound and Flap Management

This policy does not cover use of non-contact near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) for acute or chronic wound assessment and management. It also does not cover NIRS for intraoperative or postoperative assessment of flaps or micro-flaps.
