The Vabra aspirator is covered to obtain uterine/endometrial tissue for evaluation of suspected endometrial disease in patients with clinical signs or symptoms (for example, irregular or heavy vaginal bleeding). Payment is not allowed when the device or related diagnostics are used for asymptomatic patients or routine physical exams per §1862(a)(7).
