Sensory Nerve Conduction Threshold Tests (sNCTs)

Sensory nerve conduction threshold tests (sNCTs), including CPT, PPT, PTT, and v-NCT device types, are not covered by Medicare when used to diagnose sensory neuropathies or radiculopathies. The policy lists no nationally covered indications for sNCTs for Medicare beneficiaries.
