Medicare covers diagnosis and treatment of sexual impotence (erectile dysfunction). Documentation demonstrating clinical appropriateness may be required if abuse is suspected, and psychiatric service limitations from the Medicare General Information Manual (Chapter 3) apply to non‑inpatient treatment related to mental conditions.
