Policy Summary
Fabric wrapping of abdominal aneurysms (e.g., with cellophane or fascia lata) is explicitly non-covered and not considered reasonable and necessary. External wall reinforcement that is not fabric wrapping may be considered only in extremely rare cases when excision and reconstruction with synthetic materials are not viable.
